Pentecostal Bible College
Pentecostal Bible College, is a vital part of Pentecostal Assemblies of Malawi (PAOM). The national church has grown rapidly in recent years and the need for trained pastors is increasing each year. Present Bible college facilities are filled beyond capacity. Often there are 30 men sleeping in one room with bunk beds so closely packed together there is little room to move.
Malawi’s population has reached 11 million but life expectancy has dropped to the mid 30’s due to the HIV/AIDS crisis. It is estimated that there are up to 900,000 orphaned by HIV/AIDS. Malawi faces a crisis with less and less time to reach its population.
With the need to train well-educated Malawians from the city as well as the uneducated pastors in remote, rural villages, we are in the process of developing a multilevelled program.
As resources become available a new facility will be built. It also will house the Village of Hope (VOH) orphan homes, the national office of PAOM, a secondary school, and a medical clinic.
This is Malawi’s day and PAOM must be ready to respond. The PAOC’s partnership is essential.
